no need to choose!

Most people see me on stage. They laugh. They assume that’s what I do. And while this is the part that gets the most recognition, there’s a part of my life that happens off stage.

I happen to also run a business. I lead workshops. I train teams on communication, storytelling, and emotional intelligence.

Fact is, I spend just as much time in boardrooms as I do in green rooms.and I care deeply about both.

I’m sharing an excerpt from my latest interview with Chris Fade on Virgin Radio DXB, because watching it back reminded me: what you’re building matters, even when no one’s clapping for it.

Because yes, laughter is powerful, and it’s my all time favorite thing. But helping people grow, communicate better, lead with empathy can be just as fulfilling.

So here I am, NOT choosing between one version of myself and the other. Just showing up fully. On and off the stage. 

The truth is, I’ve spent years building something I believe in. And no, it doesn’t always get the spotlight. It’s challenging most times, and can get draining, and get one to wonder and ask a million questions. But it gives me purpose. It grounds me. It keeps me sharp, and it works. It just works!

To the ones who are trying to balance what they do with who they are , I get you. To the ones who question everything and show up regardless, I am you!
