Is it manifestation, or just the brain doing its job?

A few days ago, I was in the middle of a remote island, trying to catch my breath between tour stops, when I had this random thought:

-I’d love to do a comedy show in Morocco.

No planning. No emails. Just a mental whisper I filed under “MAYBE ONE DAY”.

A couple of hours later, I spot a guy walking by in a shirt that reads: Casablanca.
I smile. Coincidence?

A few hours after that, my wife’s cousin calls to tell her they’re planning a trip to .. wait for it: Morocco.

Now, is this manifestation?

Or is it our brain’s reticular activating system, the filter that decides what to notice out of the millions of things coming at us every second?

According to neuroscience, once you set an intention, your brain begins scanning the environment for anything related to it. It's not that those signals weren’t there before, you just weren’t tuned in.

Here’s another story from the same trip.

I was drained. Touring is exhilarating, but also exhausting. I had just wrapped multiple shows, back-to-back flights, and had been running on adrenaline for weeks.

I sit at a small restaurant, and when the waiter asks how I am, I open up and tell them my life’s story, without thinking the situation twice:

"I’m just overwhelmed. I’m really excited for this dinner. I need to unwind."

The waitress smiles and says:
"You’re in the right place."

That sentence hit deeper than she could’ve known. She didn’t know the context. She was probably referring to how good the food is, but her words felt perfectly timed.

That’s the thing:

When you're open, you start listening differently. You absorb more. You assign meaning. You hear what you need, not just what was said.

Whether it's the power of manifestation, the “Red Car Theory”, brain wiring, or a bit of magic, I have been feeling lately that the world reflects what one’s ready to see.

And sometimes, strangers deliver the messages you didn’t know you needed.

So yes, Morocco is on my radar now (Beginning October?)

And indeed, I might be in the right place, right now!
